DEVK wants to position itself more strongly in the online business than its competitors. In addition to positioning itself in relevant online channels and increasing the number of online contracts, this also includes high service quality and customer satisfaction by offering customers intuitive and easy-to-use services. To this end, DEVK intends to develop and operate a new self-service portal: "meineDEVK". In line with the "mobile-first" culture, the new services are to be mobile-usable in particular.
The DB Mosaik app is the mobile ticket control of the future. The modular system is one of the main work devices for train staff on local and long-distance trains operated by Deutsche Bahn. The app enables train staff to carry out efficient and reliable ticket checks, fare collection and ticket sales on trains and buses.
Which ticket will get me from A to B? Did I buy the right ticket or am I paying too much? Am I still within the valid ticket range or am I now unintentionally traveling "black"? Anyone who travels by bus or train has certainly asked themselves one or all of these questions. The fact that different tarif and ticket options also apply in each transport association does not make it any easier. For occasional travelers in particular, traveling by public transport is often opaque and complicated - and leads to some people preferring to use their car after all. Deutsche Bahn wants to change that: Tickin is supposed to be "the easiest ticket app of your life" and thus increase customer satisfaction and attract new customers.
In close cooperation with the IT department of TX Logistik, the system landscape was expanded in a future-proof manner by setting up a cloud-based data lake and successfully "lifted onto the rails". The goal of the data lake is fast, flexible and efficient service of the business areas with high-quality data for analyses and reports. Furthermore, the data lake serves as a data basis for new use cases in the advanced analytics area.
Since the beginning of 2018, a new digital booking route at Carglass has ensured better identification and more reliable provision of car windows to be replaced. Cologne Intelligence supported the vehicle glazing specialists in the agile development of the software - for better data quality and higher customer satisfaction.
Together with the business department and the data warehouse team at congstar, we developed a customized fast lane process for optimized report provision and successfully transferred it into day-to-day business.
Postbank needed an environment in which it could offer exclusive partner offers to existing customers. It is important to clearly identify the existing customers and - if desired - to ensure that offers cannot be freely shared and used on the Internet. Another wish was the possibility of granting temporary access to non-existing customers. In addition, it should be possible to maintain the partner offers quickly and without programming knowledge.
For our customer we have developed the control of a heatable garment via mobile app. Via an iPhone app, the various heating elements of the garment can be comfortably controlled according to individual needs and adjusted to the outside temperature. The controllers of the garment and the app communicate via Bluetooth. This is used both to address the heating elements and to query the manufacturer's built-in sensor technology. This enables the user to display the inside temperature of the garment in the app.
fraenk is the new digital tariff that is offered exclusively via app. We supported the technical realization of the app. fraenk offers phone calls and surfing and has been available since April 2020. The special thing about fraenk: as a digital tariff, fraenk is offered exclusively via app. Our iOS and Android developers supported the realization of the app. It was a really good, intensive project in a great agile team and a super result! We are looking forward to the next releases!
Data Science and Machine Learning offer huge business potential. Our customer has therefore founded an innovation hub with many young employees under the supervision of experienced colleagues to bring a breath of fresh air into the (digitization) processes of the company and to seize the opportunities offered by data science and machine learning. Our team has advised and supported the company in various projects along this path.
Local transport and the associated integration of transport associations is a high priority for Deutsche Bahn. This should also be reflected in the well-known DB Navigator. We support Deutsche Bahn with our UX experts and app developers. Both the DB Navigator, as well as bahn.de and regional offers face the challenges of the advancing integration of local transport topics and transport associations. DB Navigator in particular, known primarily for long-distance travel, should be able to offer much more in this regard. As a travel companion used by millions of users, the demands on the user experience are correspondingly high. New features are tested and continuously developed in regular Uselabs. Our UX designers develop ideas for this, which are then tested in the form of interactive prototypes with users from the target group. Our app developers are directly involved in the DB Navigator iOS team. In doing so, they support the further development of new features, fixing bugs and quality assurance in an agile software development process. We look forward to continuing to actively support Deutsche Bahn in the further development of their projects.
The German Association of Family Physicians (Deutscher Hausärzteverband e.V.) and its regional associations now offer family physicians a new, simplified option for applying for membership and participating in the contracts for family physician-centered care. The software developed by us reproduces the declaration of participation and also the membership form completely digitally.
